The HLTAID013 Provide First Aid in Remote or Isolated Site course develops the skills and knowledge required to manage a first aid emergency when professional medical assistance may be delayed. Participants learn to assess and care for a casualty over an extended period, coordinate communication and evacuation, and provide ongoing first aid support until medical assistance arrives or the casualty can be safely evacuated.
